# plugin-alpaca

Alpaca market data, account, positions, and order management for [Jaspers Terminal](https://github.com/JaspersAI/terminal), with watchlist, account, and order-blotter views.

## Install

In Jaspers Terminal, open Settings > Plugins, paste

```
https://github.com/JaspersAI/plugin-alpaca
```

and press Install, or install `jaspers/alpaca` from Jaspers Hub.

## Keys

- **Alpaca API key ID** and **Alpaca API secret key** (paper account; also used for market data)
- **Alpaca LIVE account API key ID** and **Alpaca LIVE account API secret key** (optional; only for `live_account: true`)

Keys are sealed in your OS keychain and never reach the plugin or the assistant.

## Develop

```sh
git clone https://github.com/JaspersAI/plugin-alpaca.git ~/Jaspers/plugins/alpaca
cd ~/Jaspers/plugins/alpaca
npm install
npm run typecheck
npm test
```

## Release

Bump `version` in `package.json`, commit, and push a tag:

```sh
npm version patch
git push --follow-tags
```
